New Years Resolution 2016

New Years Resolution 2016

Have you ever had a problem with setting rules for your household? Starting the year with a good New Years Resolution for 2016 is one way to go. This is an excellent list to start with. It talks about all of the positive things your family can do rather than focusing on negative rules. We all face enough negativity whenever we walk out the door to school, work, activities. Things like, “You aren’t good enough.” or “You aren’t tough enough.”

Improving 2016

Any family (that includes 1 and above) can improve and show more positivity by letting go of the negative talk before you enter your door. Share, be kind, love, politeness, faithfulness to promises, smiling, doing your best, hugs, and patience are all part of the formula to have your house be a home and safe haven from the world outside. Try it for a month, two months and reevaluate the effectiveness of your New Years Resolution 2016.

Happy New Years 2016,

Hebrews 3:15

15 As has just been said:

BIBLE (Version NIV)

SCRIPTURE: (Write it out): As has just been said: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.

OBSERVATION (What I learned): This refers to the Hebrews while traveling the wilderness for 40 years. It is a warning to me not to harden my heart so that I can not hear the voice of God.

APPLICATION (to my life): I need to be aware when I am being drawn away from when the Holy Spirit speaks to me and obey. I need to recognize that God is present with me always and feel  love and protection.

Prayer (use scripture as a guide): Heavenly Father, I hear your warning and I heed it. I feel your presence and the voice of the Holy Spirit. I need to guard against hardening my heart. Lord, help to guide me. Keep me studying your words in Hebrews. Direct my path away from sin. Praise you Jesus.

Amen. Susan…
