Change and Age
Change in life is inevitable.
Just when you think your stable,
change happens and blows
your stability all to hell.
The older I get, I dread change
with everything rocking boats
and causing turmoil and unease.
Why must things always change?
When you are a child you adapt.
You don’t have much choice in it.
When you are young, you crave it.
Change keeps boredom away.
At my age, change is not good.
I want everything to stay the same.
I have my scheduled expectations.
I crave predictability all the time.
Change is not my friend now.
