A Bit “Daft”

A Bit “Daft”

“She lived a life that some would describe as being on edge.” Most described her as a bit “daft”, a little “crazy.” Once when she had divorced her fourth husband, all she had left were two buffalo head nickels. She was a cat with nine lives, always landed on her feet. She took her two nickels to a pawn shop and got $30 for them. After all, they were collectors?

She took her money to the hotel on the strip and gambled herself into $2000. Lucky she  was. She picked up husband # 5, drunk, and more than willing to marry her at the all-night Elvis chapel. Did I mention he was rich and stupid besides?

After all, she was a beautiful woman, crazier than sin, but he got just what he bargained for. Tonight, she became Mrs. Jack Daniels III, great-great grandson to the late Jack Daniels of whiskey fame. May they live happily ever after until the divorce.
