God Who Heals – Reflections-Day 33

Pause and Reflect…

In yesterday’s blog, I wrote about my “body failure” this week with my pain from arthritis and Fibromyalgia continuing daily. But I learned that when David speaks of his flesh and heart failing, we are brought along in his struggle with his “natural” world or circumstances. I was reminded that our bodies may fail us through sickness, pain, age, and death. Along with the physical failure, my heart becomes discouraged and can fail.

I clung to the second part of the verse says that God is my strength and enough for me forever, despite the consequences and my failing physical health. With God, I am  not limited to the physical, natural world alone (my pain) but God helps me to transcend to a Godly realm where my heart is strengthened and built up despite my pain. God is enough for me forever.
