Welcome to Mondays Finish the Story!
Are you any good at games?
My challenge is to finish the story with the photo below using 100-150 words, not including the opening sentence… This challenge runs from Monday to Sunday! Click on the blue frog and add your link so that others can enjoy your story and other stories too! Now let’s have some fun!
Finish the story begins with: “He thought he found the perfect hiding spot.”
Jingles and His Cat Nap
“He thought he found the perfect hiding spot.” Little did he know that his pet mommy had psychic abilities. Jingles held really still trying to maintain his invisibility. He didn’t even dare purr or take a deep breath. He had just eaten, but that chair across the room looked catnap comfy. Maybe he ought to rethink this situation.
Just then, mommy came into the room and started calling him. “Jingles-s-s-s…Jingles-s-s-s…wittle Jingle-e-e Bells-s-s-, where’s mommy’s wittle furbaby?” she cooed in her baby voice. Jingles was embarrassed for her. She sounded so ridiculous…but he did love her cooing at him.
Of course, she knew where he was (she’s psychic). She saw his glowing eyes through the curtain, but he was so cute hiding. Meanwhile, Jingles wanted his catnap in that chair. He moved his paws and mommy pulled back the curtain. “There you are sweetums. Come to mommy,” she cooed. “Meow!” Jingles said. “Meow!” and headed to the chair for his catnap.
