Time and Clock Towers

Clock towers speak
of time long past
when innocence
was lost forever.
Time moves forward
leaving all memory
behind along with
innocence forever.
Present time speaks
of self-destruction
through isolation
and alienation.
Future time looks
bleak as hopelessness
washes over hope
through fatality.
Time awash with
hopelessness inside
my inner soul where
sadness pervades.
Saddened by time lost
and forever forgotten.
Where is joy…where?
When did hope desert?
I am silently left with
an illusion believed
since childhood, turning
dreams into nightmares.
Time and clock towers
presume time is neutral.
But are they condemned.
taking sides against me.
Only time will tell me
total truth and honesty.
Where did time go?…Where?
Memory fades and is lost.
The time is now to stand
and claim my time-worthiness.
The time is now that I claim
my innocence lost as found.
Time and clock towers beckon
to me  that memory comes
to enlighten and provide solace
from acts against my childhood.
Time lost, now found by me
Questions answered with
memories regained and claimed
as my memories…my childhood.
Oh, childhood you were wronged.
abandoned victimized to suffer.
These acts that were not your fault.
Oh, childhood you are free.
Free to love…to laugh… to live
to reclaim time and  survivorship
Time tells you, “Go forth in victory,”
Clock tower says “Go forth renewed.”

30 Day Blogging Challenge Day 23-Celebrities

Day 23 – Post five photos of celebrities you find attractive.

My Favorite Celebrities…

Sorry, this is posted late. I was trying to work on it last night and kept falling asleep so I thought it best to go to bed and do this in the morning. These are the celebrities I like.

45-year-old Jen doesn’t just look good for her age, she looks good period. I first saw her in Friends and  she is more beautiful now that she was during the episodes.

Sandra Bullock is 50 years young and never seems to age and she gets to hang out with other stars like George Clooney. I love to watch her acting ability. She’s one of my favorites.

John Legend is very handsome and a great performer. I love his music. My favorite song is “All Of Me” on his album, John Legends Top Songs.

Harrison Ford is one of the most gorgeous men I have ever seen. He is a great actor also. If he is in a movie, I’m there to watch it.

Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope in Scandal is so beautiful, sexy and intelligent. She is a great actress and has me hooked on her show.

Robin Williams RIP Courtesy of Tumbler.com

So, I broke the rules and posted SIX. I couldn’t leave Robin Williams off of my list. He was the greatest actor and comedian who has ever lived. The world lost a great man when he died. That’s my list. How about you? Do you have five you could post pics of if asked?
